Vaughan Thomas ward were very kind and helpful during my sons admission, the staff were welcoming and always had time to talk to me and reassurre me of his recovery. Attending the ward round and the telephone calls with nurses and matron were helpful and enabled me to feel I was important and listened to
Thank you for helping my son I am very greatful
Yes birthdays could be better
I felt very let down when it was mine, nothing was done
No communication- some staff
After the initial shock of being forced to eat, medicate and undergoing ECT I’m in a better place at the moment, health wise and much able to appreciate the variety of activities in and out of the ward, taking into consideration my people phobia. I discovered another special service which is a shopping service from the local shop for residents. I’ve got tea on my mind. Pukka tea
Cotswold House has been really helpful to me, and I really appreciate the care and kindness that has been given to me here, especially when I feel that I don’t deserve it.
More individualised care is positive and the more this is followed the better.
Most staff do a really great job. It’s difficult to comment because it is difficult as a patient when the staff do their job properly. Some staff clearly don’t have any concept of what it means to have a mental health problem (not the majority)
I think that all staff are lovely at Cotswold House, and I appreciate very much care and support that has been given for me here.
Service delivered to the best standard possible given funding and usually listened to.
The staff at Cotswold House are very caring and supportive.
